Best MD-80 cabin details you can still picture

Windows, sidewalls, engine hum, seat fabrics, boarding music. Which details are still perfectly preserved in memory?

For me it is the way the cabin looked from row 18 forward at dusk. The whole aircraft felt like warm beige and low sun.

The noise signature is what does it. You could tell exactly where you were on the airplane with your eyes closed.
