Atlantic Gulf Airlines began operations in October of 1983 with service centered around St Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport in Florida. It flew Vickers Viscounts then Convair 580s and finally 3 BAC 1-11 Jets which ultimately led to its downfall in 1986. The airline abandoned St. Petersburg for Tallahassee which turned out to be an ill-advised move. This is the airline's first timetable.
