TI suffered a debilitating strike in 1974-75. During that time, it introduced a new color scheme but bookings were slow in coming even after services restarted. TI operated DC-9's and Convair 600's into the smaller destinations like Brownwood, TX. Los Angeles and Salt Lake City were relatively recent introductions to the route map.
