TI was known as Trans Texas at the time. It operated a fleet of DC-9s, DC-3s and Convair 600s. The "Pamper Jets" flew west to New Mexico, east to Memphis, and south to the Rio Grande Valley. The airline was affectionatly known as "Tree Top Airways".
