This is Pan Am's last map and schedule before it absorbed National on January 1, 1980. Before the acquisition of National's domestic routes, Pan Am began limited domestic service between its hubs at JFK, Miami, San Francisco, and LAX. Pan Am had begun serving Madrid again after the TWA route swap, but Paris would wait until the National acquisition.
