In 1975 Pan Am was performing well. Shortly after this timetable was published Pan Am and TWA agreed on a route swap. PA would give up it's U.S. â€" Paris service in exchange for TWA giving up U.S.- Frankfurt, which was a nice fit with PA's German domestic flights. PA wouldn't return to Paris again until it purchased National's flights.
Pan Am also dropped Madrin, Barcelona, Nice, Casablanca, and Vienna as well as many flights from London as TWA dropped it's entire Pacific operation.
