Delta approached deregulation cautiously which boded well for it's financial health. The London and Frankfurt services were added in 1978 and 1979 respectively. In 1981, Salt Lake City, Reno, Austinm and San Antonio were added to the schedule. By this time, the Venezuelan and Jamaican flights had been abandoned.
