Air Canada and Southwest B737-200s

Air Canada completed the phase-out of its 737-200 fleet by 2004. They first entered service side-by-side with the DC-9s in 1976. Interestingly, Air Canada never operated any other type of the 737s, opting to replace them with Airbus A319s and 320s. Southwest retired its last 737-200s in January, 2005.

Actually, I don't think Air Canada ever operated 737's "directly"; they inherited them from Canadian (Formerly Canadian Pacific), when they "merged" in the 90's.
