AeroMexico and Allegiant Airlines operated this MD-87, seen in the boneyard. It is now becoming common to see 1980s vintage MD-80s being scrapped. Once American accelerates its retirement of the type, expect the 2nd hand value to plummet and more MD-80s will quickly become a staple of boneyards at Mojave.
