This is a model of Braniff's famous 747-100, also known as the Great Pumpkin and Big Orange. This was the high time 747 at the time flying daily from DFW to Honolulu. Until London services commenced, this was the now defunct airline's only 747. Big Orange flew the last flight of Braniff I, when it went bankrupt in May 1982.
