These displays came from the Pan Am Flying Boat Base at Treasure Island. In 1936, Pan Am inagurated Trans-Pacific passenger service first to Hawaii, and then to Midway, Wake, Guam, Manila, and Hong Kong with the Martin M-130's. These historic services, originating at San Francisco, ended in 1946.
