Pictured at Paris Le Bourget's Museum of Air and Space is an ultra rare Dasult Mercure. The Mercure almost killed the Airbus program has government funding went to this program initially instead. The 10 or so examples ever built only flew within France for the domestic carrier Air Inter. When Air France absorbed Air Inter in 1996, the Mercure's were retired.
