Concorde G-BOAD

Concorde G-BOAD was loaned by British Airways to the USS Intrepid Museum in New York City in 2003. G-BOAD was noteworthy as it was once painted in Singapore and British Airways colors. It was the last Concorde to land at JFK, landing on November 10, 2003. G-BOAD was delivered in August, 1976. The aircraft was temporarily moved to Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn for the duration of restoration and rehabilitation work on Intrepid and the pier at which Intrepid and Concorde were located, expected to last until 2008. It was damaged when a truck knocked off the supersonic protrusion, but has been repaired.
