Delta now has the largest fleet of 767s in the world. This brochure covers the launch in Delta service. Delta employees purchased the airline's first 767, named "The Spirit of Delta", through payroll deductions. Imagine that today! In 2006, Delta completed withdrawing all 767-200s from service, yet "Spirit" was retained for the company museum.
