Up until the early 1970s, airlines such as American distributed flight information kits to passengers. These kits were replaced as in-flight magazines came online. These kits featured items such as post cards, puzzles, route maps, general information, drink tickets, and destination information. Some even featured foreign language translators and cards. This kit places special emphasis on the new jet service complete with descriptions on how jets fly, sound, and feel. Also a hoot is the somewhat sexist stewardess description.
