Hamburg, though not nearly as well known as its Toulouse conterpart, is Airbus' second final assembly facility. With Airbus being a Pan European consortium and Germany's Daimler Benz Aerospace being ? major stockholder, Germany's status in the program netted the country a major Airbus facility. Besides all Airbus interiors being fitted here, full final assembly of the Airbus A-318, 319, and 321 occurs in Hamburg.
