Sacramento International serves the capital of the most populous US state, California. It is relatively small airport where Southwest accounts for about a half of the traffic. In 1998 with the opening of a new terminal building, it was renamed Sacramento International Airport (from Sacramento Metropolitan Airport); though it didn't receive its first international flights until 2002 when Mexicana initiated nonstop service to Guadalajara. It is also served by American, Continental, Delta, USAirways, Frontier, Horizon, Hawaiian, JetBlue, and Alaska from its 2 concourse - A&B.
