BA and AA are the cornerstones of the One World Alliance. The 2 airlines control 40% of the slots at Heathrow between the both of them. Ironically, they are not allowed to code share or participate fully in the alliance on their prime North Atlantic routes due to anti-trust concerns on both sides of the Atlantic.
