Owen Roberts International Airport - Grand Cayman, BWI

Owen Roberts International is the hub airport for the 3 Cayman Islands. Architectually, it looks like an airport you'd find in Palau or Tahiti. The terminal, built in 1984, was ravaged during Hurricane Ivan which devestated the entire island. Like most of Grand Cayman, it has been put back together quickly. Cayman Airways is the home carrier here, with traffic typical of most major Caribbean airports. US Airways, American, Continental, and Delta have service with long-haul flights soley provided by British Airways. Like Montego Bay, Owen Roberts has on an open air waving gallery/observation deck accessible to non-passengers. The airport, like Barbados has open-air walkways to the gates.
