FLL has 4 terminals arranged in a horse shoe fashion. The newest, Terminal 1, is occupied by Southwest, Continental, Jet Blue, Air Tran, and Northwest. Compared to the chaos of Miami, this spacious new terminals is paradise. It opened in 2001.
