Detroit Metro North Terminal Ticketing (2009)

The North Terminal opened on September 17, 2008. It is the replacement for the Berry and L.C. Smith Terminals, which housed all non-SkyTeam Airlines. The Northwest and now Delta hub is at the McNamara Terminal. Controversially, Detroit has offered up the naming rights to a corporate sponsor much like a sports stadium. The North Terminal is relatively utilitarian compared to the McNamara. It is considered the "D" concourse as the Mac has Concourses A, B, and C. It has 24 gates with 2 more on the way. The LC Smith Terminal is deserted, save for administration offices and is being considered as a film studio, rather than being razed. The Barry Terminal, built in 1974 for international and charter flights is being demolished. Special thanks for images to: Ben Frank
