The new International Terminal opened in 2005. It is an impressive facility to say the least. It is the first terminal at DFW to move away from the signature "horseshoe" layout that has been the mainstay since the opening of the airport. The new terminal boasts a high end Grand Hyatt Hotel actually located above on-site. AA operates a reasonable large internation service which likely results in paltry representation by foreign airlines. BA, Korean, Lufthansa, Taca, Singapore (cargo only) and Air Canada are the foreign flag carriers as of 2006. Oddly considering the large hispanic population in the area, Mexicana and AeroMexico pulled out of DFW in 2005.
