Grand Turk is the capital, but not business and tourist hub of the Turks and Caicos. Currently, most flights are to Provo, Providenciales but Spirit operates a few flights per week to Ft. Lauderdale. At the entrance of the terminal is a replica of John Glenn's Space Capsule which splashed down in the area.
