The Boeing 747-8I's flight deck is very similar to the Boeing 747-400 but is inspired by the Boeing 787-8 with limited fly-by-wire systems and LCD screens replacing the old CRT's. A unique feature to the Bombardier Dash 8 is that the Flight Crew has it's own rest quarters and lavatory behind the secured flight deck door which will only enhance the Upper Deck experience. There will be no more of the infamous "cart blocking" of the cockpit door on the Boeing 747-8I.
