Grantely Adams is the most modern airport in the Carribean yet it is still a work in progress with a major renovation underway. The canopy membranes are a distinctive omage to Denver International Airport. The bulk of Granley's service originates from the U.S. and the U.K. Virgin, BA, American, US Airways, Air Jamaica, and BWIA are the most familiar operators there. The ticketing hall is unique in that much like Honolulu, is covered but open to the elements. The airport is not planespotter friendly with security basically forbidding all photography, even in the absence of warning signage.
