It is served, as of 2012, by Allegiant Air, American Eagle, Delta Conneciton, United Express, and US Airways Express. Allegiant Air's Douglas MD-80s to Sanford (Orlando), Florida are the largest planes at Asheville Regional Airport where Regional Jets, ATRs, and Bombardier Dash 8s dominate.
